The Lychee we use for our concentrate has a rough, red leathery surface, and an interior that has a white, creamy fruit. The fruit is native to the Chinese descent. Here, it is known as a tropical fruit with a sweet, fragrant flavor that buds in May and June. We usually pack the concentrate in aseptic bags packaged in metallic cone-shaped drums with plastic lids.
